PORTRAITS
PROJECT
BLACK
&
WHITE
I have always enjoyed portrait photography and capturing everyday moments. When I studied abroad I had the opportunity to take a photography course and expand my photography skills. I developed my skills by learning how to shoot in manual and practicing in street photography.
For my final project, I chose to do a photodocumentary of my international friends in black and white. I asked all of my subjects the same question: "What is your favorite memory from your time here [study abroad/Erasmus]? "
To the right is a collection of miscellaneous images I have captured during my travels. It displays my ability to spot creative potential among the mundane.

A child poses like a frog on a rock embedded in a shallow lake.

A monarch butterfly takes a rest from flight on a manicured hand.

The focus is in the foreground where various love locks are attached to a bridge. The background is a golden sunset that displays an out of focus, but recognizable Eiffel Tower.

PRODUCT
PHOTOGRAPHY
To left is an example of my product photography. Each brand has a certain artistic image and identity so I created lighting, colors, and mood to match the brand's pre-existing aesthetic. This shows my understanding of studio photography and ability to align brand identity with content creation.
